This is an opportunity, not an obligation

Educational content > promotional content

Authenticity matters more than polish

This is a practice lab, not a performance.

  • You’re here to learn, experiment, and build confidence as a healthcare content creator — and you’re supported every step of the way.

If you choose to post publicly:

  • Tag @maeloveskincare, @drspf, and @sugaiacademy
  • Include a simple disclosure (“Products gifted by Maelove”)
  • That’s it. There’s no “right” way to do this.

FTC-SAFE DISCLOSURE COPY

Place Disclosure:

Use one of the following disclosures if you post publicly:

Or first comment

“Products gifted by Maelove.”

Or on-screen text

“Skincare products provided by Maelove for educational purposes.”

In caption

“Gifted by @maeloveskincare.”

“Thank you @maeloveskincare for gifting these products.”

Keep it simple and transparent.

Welcome to the Maelove × Sugai Academy Creator Kickstart

You may have received (or will soon receive) a Creator Kickstart Kit from Maelove. This is an optional opportunity designed to help you practice creating educational skincare content in a safe, supportive environment.

A few things to know:

  • There are no deadlines
  • There are no posting requirements
  • You do not need a large following
  • You are not expected to “sell” anything

This is about learning, experimenting, and finding your voice as a healthcare professional on social media.

If you have questions, concerns, or just want to share where you’re at — please use this thread. You’re not doing this alone.

We’re excited to support you.

BASIC FILMING TIPS FOR HCPs

Simple Filming Tips for Healthcare Creators

  • Your phone is enough
  • Natural window light is enough
  • Hands-only videos are fine
  • Voiceovers are fine
  • Text-only posts are fine
  • You do not need fancy equipment
  • Refer to the lessons within the Sugai Academy

If you’re filming:

  • Clean background
  • Neutral lighting
  • Speak as if explaining to a patient

If you’re nervous:

  • Record once, then stop
  • You don’t have to post immediately
  • Practice counts

Remember: You’re not trying to be an influencer. You’re being a credible educator.
